By accessing, browsing, or using the ResumeForge AI website, mobile application, and any tools or services provided by us (collectively referred to as the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ResumeForge AI. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions outlined in this document, you are strictly prohibited from using our Services and must discontinue use immediately.

2. Description of Services

ResumeForge AI provides an online platform featuring artificial intelligence-driven tools designed to assist users in career development. These tools include, but are not limited to, an ATS Resume Checker, a Resume Analyzer, a Cover Letter Generator, and Interview Preparation utilities. While we strive to provide highly accurate and beneficial analysis based on current industry standards and AI algorithms, we do not guarantee employment, job interviews, or any specific career outcomes as a result of using our Services. The tools are provided as aids to your own professional judgment.

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

While certain features of our Services may be accessed as a guest, utilizing the full functionality of ResumeForge AI may require you to register for an account. By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials (username and password).
  • Accept full responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we suspect that you have provided false information, violated these Terms, or engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are strictly prohibited from using the Services to:

  • Upload, transmit, or share any content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Upload documents containing malicious code, viruses, trojans, or any software intended to disrupt or damage the Services or other users' devices.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, hack, or otherwise compromise the integrity of our AI algorithms, databases, or security measures.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated bots to extract data from our website without our explicit written permission.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity on your generated resumes or cover letters.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality available on the Services—including but not limited to the source code, AI algorithms, software, text, graphics, logos, and design elements—are the exclusive property of ResumeForge AI and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the personal data, resumes, cover letters, and other documents you upload to our platform. By uploading your content, you grant ResumeForge AI a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and temporarily store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Services to you (e.g., analyzing your resume to generate an ATS score).

6. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

No Warranties: The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. ResumeForge AI explicitly disclaims all warranties regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the AI analysis will be error-free or that the Services will be uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability: In no event shall ResumeForge AI, its directors, employees, partners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Services; or (iii) any errors or inaccuracies in the AI-generated content.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

While many of our core tools are currently offered for free, ResumeForge AI reserves the right to introduce premium features, subscription tiers, or one-time payment options in the future. Any changes to our pricing structure will be communicated clearly on our website. If you choose to purchase premium services, you agree to provide valid payment information and authorize us (or our third-party payment processors) to charge your chosen payment method. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ResumeForge AI and its affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from your use of and access to the Services, or your violation of any term of these Terms of Service.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which ResumeForge AI is officially registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in that jurisdiction.
